We are New York Street Food and we cater for some of the biggest in music, sport and streetfood festivals around the UK.
NYSF started in 2016 by childhood friends and former band mates Craig Davis and Luc Jenkins. As the glamour of rock star limelight faded and the money from the gigs in the Nags Head run dry we focused our efforts on our true passion. Food.
As veteran festival goers, we know just what’s needed from the field based eateries – lots of hot tasty food, NOW! Oh and some change left over for the bar, thanks. We are massive, we are delicious, and we are affordable.
We mix and ball our dough on site to our authentic New York recipe and prove for 48 hrs. Our pizza bases are stretched and topped with fresh ingredients in our open kitchen. Our hot stone oven heats up to 450 degrees and cooks our pizzas in seconds. Our slices are stacked with toppings and have a crunchy, delicious crust.
No one wants to spend their afternoon queuing or taking a ticket and hanging around. There are so many better things to be doing at a festival. Our hot pizza slices are ready to go and so enormous they satisfy the most ravenous of ravers. Our servers are rapid and our over-the-till banter is legendary. Our set-up keeps our queue moving rapidly and we pride ourselves on providing food that’s worth the wait, without the wait.
Our staff love working in our lively, raucous and hilarious environment that is our stall. We know their smiles and banter mixed with the theatre of freshly spun pizza and the aromas drifting from the kitchen add to the punters experience. We are New York Street Food and we will make you smile.
Everybody here at NYSF loves our little planet. And we do everything to ensure that our operation has a positive impact on the environment we live in. Our packaging is not just bio degradable but compostable and made from recycled materials. We have sourced ingredients that are not only of the best quality but consider animal welfare and their environmental impact as well. We recycle our oil, food and as much of our material waste as possible and are proud of our green credentials.
The food industry is changing and at NYSF we endeavour to be ahead of the curve. Our menus cater for the ever-growing diversity of modern eating, including Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free diets. We like to step away from the norm and provide options that are a genuine sensory experience whatever your needs.
